That sounds like more than just VVS. When they were doing a lot of tests on me, they did two different kinds of heart monitors: an event monitor, where you push a button when you experience symptoms, and a Holter monitor, which records continuously for a period of time, usually 24 hours. I can understand why the event monitor might not work, but if her heart rate is that erratic the Holter monitor should show something. If your current doctor is not willing to do more tests, you might want to consider finding another doctor.
