I am a 44yr old woman who has has no history of fainting. I have been under alot of stress over the last year and on the day of the incident i had a hosted a party, worked and had to go shopping for a certain item. After shopping we went out to eat and was driving home and about 30 min into the drive I had severe abd pain and bloating with feeling hot. I pulled off the road and got out of the car and passed out. I was told that I was gurgling and my eyes were rolled back into my head and no pulse could be found. When I awoke I had vomitted and urinated. We went to an ER to make sure it was nothing. In the Er on the monitors I had another episode that put me into cardiac arrest fot 22 seconds and when I came to thay were performing CPR. I was more concerning of my pain from the fall. This episode in the ER gave me 3 days in ICU and a pacemaker. I have been scanned, songram, thallium tested, Eco card, lab, x-rayed, more HTN med, and the only answer to what happen was it was an immpressive vaso vagal response. Needless to say the two cardiac arrest experiences have left me very drained/tired. I am trying to limit the stress in my life. Iam hoping you may have some insight in what is the true cause. Is it stress??
