As a child I would vomit because of the flu and I would immediately faint. Doctors put me on all kinds of seizure drugs and the treatment would not help. One day mom had the doctors give me drugs to induce vomiting and they hooked me up to many wires including a heart monitor and found out I was going into complete heart block when vomiting. I recieved a pacemaker at a very low rate and I never pass out when vomiting to this day. I have a question, if I had the nerve removed around the stomach would that stop the vegal nerved from stopping my heart?
