I am a diabetic and am 67. When the nausea began I was not alarmed because lately I've frequently experienced it after breakfast. My blood sugar levels were normal before and after the syncope Symptons: nausea loss of consciousness vomiting biting of tongue standing and some babbling for a short time eyes open during episode regaining of consciousness in about 15 minutes The vaso vagel syncope was not voiced to me during my 2 day hospital stay. While in the hospital I was visited and examed by a neurologist, a diabetes specialist, and a hospitalist. As directed, I visited my fanily doctor after arriving home. The term was finally mentioned when I visited my cardiologist.
