I always associated my attacks with stress?

I've only had approx. 8 episodes in my life, I am 47. I've usually had these episodes after or during a period of stress. It's like some are saying, you use the bathroom, then I get severe cramping, usually diarrea, then tingly extremities and profuse sweating. If I can get my clothes off and lay down on the cool bathroom floor, I won't pass out.Sometimes I feel like I'm going to throw up during this time as well.I have tried to control these periods with concentration, and not allow myself to hyperventilate or give in to the panic I feel. For me, I've also found that if I can have someone or myself, once I'm feeling stronger, make me a cup of boiled milk, it seems to make my insides feel better and ends the cramping and diarrea. It feels good to talk about this as I didn't realize others suffered from this strange thing. Can anyone tell me how and why it happens? All i was ever told was it was a drop in blood pressure? Thanks, Joy
