Hi Amy,

I just wanted to say that beta blockers actually made mine a lot worse. My BP bottoms before my heart rate goes tachy and what was happening was the betablocker made my BP drop even faster and tachy much worse.

I was given the betablocker because I was told mine are definitely anxiety attacks even though I had tilt test (I was told my results proved anxiety because of my BP and heart rate changes) although I have also been diagnosed with postural hypotention the prevailing attitude is it is just anxiety. In the UK vasovagal is commonly equated with anxiety only.

It's interesting (and great!) that it has helped with you.
