Re: Vaso-vagel diagnosis

I also have had several of these "vaso-vagal events". I am a 69 year old male. Maybe not surprisingly all of mine have occurred in a bathroom( four different bathrooms). The last two involved trips to the hospital. During the last one I was in the shower, just starting to soap up. I felt faint and reached for the grab bar and next thing I remember I was crumpled in the floor of a too little bathtub with my wife shouting for me to wake up. She had already called for 911 who assisted in getting me out of an awkward position and in getting me ready for my wife to drive me to the hospital. Test showed no apparent cause, but as I understand the phenomena it involves a sudden loss of blood to the brain and subsequent unconsciousness. If anyone has received a more specific cause or remedy for this problem it would be most helpful. Who knows where it will occur next?
