Re: Vaso Vagal attack when laying down?

Hi, Stella. I also have both fibromyalgia and vaso-vagal.....lucky me. ;)

I've had probably 15-20 full-blown V-V episodes (maybe 8-9 actual faints) with nausea, dizziness, diarrhea, cold sweats, etc., etc. Almost ALL of them have started while I'm in bed asleep!

I don't faint anymore because I either refuse to get out of bed or I crawl to the bathroom when the attack hits me. I was told it's V-V by an ER doctor, who didn't think it odd that my episodes wake me from sleep.

I don't have any advice for you.....just stay low, stay hydrated, and stay calm!

Best of luck to you!

Lorraine
