Vaso Vagal attack when laying down?

Comments

In the last 2 months I've had 3 of these attacks which feel like the beginning of a vaso vagal attack. Last night was another weird attack. I woke up at 2 am and went to the bathroom. When I got back to bed my ears started ringing really loud (I do have a tinnitus problem) and I started feeling weak and getting these tingly sensations in my arms. These are sensations I feel before fainting. My husband said "how can you be fainting if you're lying in bed?!" We almost went to the ER but I decided to ride this out. After laying down for a while the sensations passed. On another occasion I was washing dishes when the weakness/tingling hit me and I went to lay down and it passed. I can't live my life like this. I don't know if any dr. can help me as I'm already on atenolol for high blood pressure. When I have a full blown fainting spell my blood pressure does drop pretty low and pulse gets low too. I am so depressed today, I have chronic pain problems I deal with (fibromyalgia and bad back) and now this. I just wanted to vent.
