Thanks for the info. I don't actually have VVS, though I was orginally diagnosed with it. I have orthostatic intolerance - my blood pressure bottoms and my heart beats very fast and my normal heart murmur then takes on adnormal properties - whatever that means! and I collapse, they are concerned about the problem with the beating.

I am 28, and have recently been diagnosed with spinal distal atrophy as well and possible multiple system atrophy (owing to my collapsing problem, spinal problem, bowel, stomach and gall bladder problems). I think it has been suggested as a last resort really because they don't know what to do with me! They really don't know if it would help in my case or not.
