Lorraine, PLEASE take the tilt test. Your frequency of episodes are similar to mine. In 2003 they happened during my period and usually early hours of the morning. On one occasion I had been in Ireland for 2 weeks working with a world sporting event. On the last night we had the closing ceremony. I got back to accommodation about midnight. At 2am I had to ask my room mate to call an ambulance as I was in the midst of a full blown session including diarrhoea and bleeding v heavily. Our room was so small the ambulance medics could not take me out as everytime I lifted my head my heartrate dropped I would passout. They had to call the firebrigade who carried me out and down the stairs of the old house head first - too keep my heart rate up! All I remember are these 7 big beefy guys in our little room. - there is no need to feel embarrased - they see much worse
