Re: Vaso-vagal response to pain

I was hunting for answers, too. My grandson watched his two brothers get a shot and he got a shot and they all were fine, but three minutes later, he turned white. We sat him down, he began to moan, and then his tongue looked a little big and he said he couldn't breathe, and then he vomited violently. The nurse took his pulse and laid him down where he rested for about 30 minutes and got better. The doctor called it a Vegal Response......to blood, pain, etc. He has done similar reactions before but this was the worst. We think his teachers or anyone caring for him needs to know so they can lay him down and get blood to his head. I'm trying to learn more.
