Newly Diagnosed

Hi I am 24 year old female. I am glad to finally have a diagnose for what is wrong with me but a little scared,I was diagnosed 2 weeks ago with Neurocardiac Syncope/Vasovagel. It all started after I had the flu and fainted on the train about 2 months ago. Since then I am basically dizzy and lightheaded all the time. I went for a tilt table test and had a very positive result. The doctor told me to increase my fluids, drink gatorade, and up my salt.. and also put me on fludrocortisone. So far I am not feeling any better, they just keep sending me for more blood tests. I feel very weak and fatigued all the time and the doctor seems stumped by that. The mornings the the absolute worst for me, its a fight everyday to get out of bed, and after the shower I feel totally lightheaded. I was wondering if anyone else has the same feeling of weakness and exhaustion and if anyone has any suggestions. At this point the doctor just told me to hope the medication starts working, I am even dizzy when I sit or lay down its a constant thing. I am also concerned about weight gain with the fludrocortisone. I would appreciate anyones help! I am glad to know there are so many more people out there with this condition. Thanks!
