I'm 17 years old and I've had Vaso- vagal syndrome since 2nd grade. Every year after that I've passed out multiple times. On 2-23-05 I was getting ready for school, and passed out. It came on so sudden that I didn't have time to react. When I did fall I hit my head and got a concussion. I was out for an hour or so and no one was home. It's so scary for me because I haven't had the symptoms in about 2 years and all of a sudden they're back. Today, 2-28-05, I was in P.E. and passed out. I went to the hospital to get an MRI and I'm waiting on the results. unlike other people, my symptoms come at no specific time. My mother is so scared that I'm going to pass out when driving and hurt myself or someone else. I guess there's really nothing anyone can do about this but be aware of it. If anyone wants to share some facts with me I'd really appreciate it.
