I have been diagonsed with vaso depressor syncope-2 years ago ( I am 38). My symptoms included dizziness, feeling like passing out, dry mouth, paste lips, extreme hunger, hot, blurred vision and then shaking. I Had a tilt table test done 3 times and am now on medicine for it. The medicine has taken care of all of the symptoms except the seisure like activities and blurred vision. SO I too went to a neurologist who told me it wasn't epilepsy. I Have episodes on and off. Sometimes I will go without an episode for weeks and then bam, I will have an episode every day for a week, sometimes 2 or 3 a day. I have noticed that my main trigger is lack of sleep. I quit drinking alcohol 2 years ago and caffanie, but I am not sure that it has helped. I agree that the doctors don't know much about this illness. I live with it everyday. I am able to work, but I don't think I would be able to without medicine. Mine was so bad that Everyday I was having an episode. I feel likc tha medicine has given me my life back (well almost!!)

I don't know anyone else who has this illeness and am glad that I found this sight. I was told that seizures are not usually part of this illness, but reading others postings has convinced me that it is.

I would love to discuss my conditions with someone who has the same issues.

Thanks,
