Re: Vaso-vagal response to pain- MENSTRUATION or PREGNANCY

I have this reaction about 2 or 3 times a year, with my period. It is unpredictiable. I never know if it will happen or not.

As soon as the first blood appears (usually upon waking), I wait about 30 minutes, and then like clockwork, I get sweaty, feverish, extreme pain from cramps, I vomit several times and always have diahhrea as well. My body goes completely limp and I cannot move. SOmetimes my throat will not even move enough and I worry that I will choke on vomit. I usually turn totally white and sweat profusely.

My gynocologists have all written this off by saying that it is 'Just vaso vagal'. I have polycystic ovarian syndrome and they say the two can be related. But in the past when I have had any accident, such as a cut or a fall, I get it as well. Does this put me at risk in child birth or pregnancy? Does anyone know anything about vaso-vagel symptoms and pregnancy??
