Re: Fascinating- I am not alone

I am very interested in what I am reading, especially your posting. I have just had my first episode of fainting right before vomiting in over 25 years two nights ago. The only other time(s) this had happened was when I was twelve years old. These spells were followed by grand mal ciezures all three times (I was diagnosed with juvinile epilepsy). Since then I have never actually fainted, although whenever I do vomit, and that is a rarety, I alway FEEL like I'm about to faint.

My confusion is why does this only happen when I vomit? I have a low heartrate (55-60) but do not have low blood pressure (120/70) and this never happens when I exercize. I do long distance running, weight training, very strenuous activities, but I've never even approached an episode at those times.

I'm curious to know if any of you who endure this condition ever have episodes of seeing lights or patterns or even have strange visions when this is coming on? Even though I haven't fainted in so long, I still suffer these things anytime I am ill.

My doctor has not yet diagnosed Vaso-Vagal, but I'm trying to find out as much as I can between visits. Thanks for your help.
