Passing out from adrenaline?

From: Jack

Hi, I am a runner and have been since I was in 7th grade and am now in grad school. I ran successfully without ever having an episode until I was in 11th grade. I passed out during a high stakes race and then passed out during other big races as well for a couple of years. I could race quite well until the big races came along. I had a tilt table test done and my blood pressure was perfect 120/80 until the doctor gave me a shot of adrenaline at which time my blood pressure immediately dropped to 63/38. Has anybody else had this test done? This explains why I would not pass out until in a big race and towards the home stretch when the adrenaline really starts to pump.
