Lauren,

My daughter has also been diagnosed with vaso-depressor syncope. She, too, was and is a junior in high school when diagnosed. The events are frequent and severe. She has missed about 20+ full and part days of school since August 26th. She is on a beta blocker and zoloft. This is her third combination of meds. They have not worked. She has three stressors/anxiety issues. Her self esteem, depression and pressures from the divorce of her mother and I. I have been taking her to a therapist to help with these issues.

Her worst times are when she wakes up and at the end of school, about 7 pm. She has trouble sleeping during the night.
