My husband has had two of these episodes this year. First was after a minor surgery and the last we could not figure out. He will fisrt blackout for 15 to 30 seconds, will come to in a daze, starts sweating very heavily and then will throw up until his stomach is empty. Both times I took him to ER. The last time just a couple of weeks ago he was in hospital for about 5 hours and they ruled out any major problems ( heart, seizure & etc). Both times he was a passenger when I was driving and appears to be related to motion sickness. He drives all day and has never had a problem driving. I am scare to death to have him as a passenger while I am driving now. It has been classified as VV both times. But I can say that the ER doctors were concerned becuase of him blacking out first.
