Yes, I have had motion sickness my entire life. I was diagnosed about 3 weeks ago. I did take the tilt table test. I am taking Midodrine and it does help me. I can not take the beta blockers because I sometimes get asthma in the winter when I exercise outside. I am 52 and I started getting sick in January of this year. The sickness has changed my happy life to a paranoid life as I know it now. I have gone to at least 5 doctors and a dietitian. I do have hypoglycemia (mild case) for 1 1/2 months I ate everything exactly as told. Finally I called the dietitian and told her this was not working. I would like to know if anyone has awakened one day and the symptoms were gone. I almost never have a day that I am not naused, dizzy, and have blurred vision.

This web site is not a substitute for a thorough medical evaluation and diagnosis of your vaso-vagal type symptoms.  Medical treatment and diagnosis is the only acceptable initial response to these serious symptoms since they might present from any number of life threatening and treatable illnesses. It is for you and your physician to rule out more serious illnesses; Please don't use this online forum as an alternative to getting responsible medical attention and being under the care of a physician for the duration of any unknown, suspected or dangerous vaso-vagal syndrome symptoms.
