VASOVAGAL SYNDROME

From: RAY MILLER

Comments

Good morning, This past Friday afternoon I was taken to the hospital by ambulance due to what in all likelihood, an attack of Vasovagal Syndrome. I was about to faint, I also experienced severe weakness, nausea, sweating, tightness in the chest. disorientation and shaking uncontrolably. One of the physicians at the hospital said that they think that I have this syndrome. I had been experiencing minor episodes of this during the past few weeks, however, it went away after 20-30 minutes. What is Vasovagal Syndrome ? Does anybody know what causes it or is there any treatment for it ? I did have a 6 way heart bypass surgery 3 years ago, so it may be related to this. Does anyone have information on this disorder? Thank you,
