I am a type 2 diabetic. My last cycle of recent VV episodes started when I was newly diagnosed last December and I started taking a pill for it (my body makes the glucose; the pill helps it get into the cells). The doctors checked me out and said the diabetes had nothing to do with it but you can't help but wonder! The fiirst in the series of episodes came after a day of particular exertion and being dehydrated so that is probably the explanation, but it sure was a coincidence. I have learned a lot since then and haven't had a full faint since.
