I disagree. I'd say it's pretty likely it IS passed down, as both my mother and grandmother seem to have had these symptoms in the past. We're now even wondering if some of the episodes on my Father's side which seem to idicate epilepsy may have simply been Vaso-Vagal mis-diagnosed a long time ago when medecine wasn't so far advanced.

This said, I wish medecine was more advanced so that we could actually give our 'problem' a better name than Vaso-Vagal because evidently it's not just a drop in blood pressure, it's not just panic attacks, it's not just needles, it's not just IBS and so on.. there's got to be a better explanation.
