Your episode scenario is identical to mine which also started in 1999. I went to a Phycologist and he verified the associated aniexty was normal. My severe episodes happen every 3-4 months but daily awareness of light headeness/slight dizziness is normal in my case. In most case my episodes happen while playing tennis but I am able to divert a blackout by immediately laying on my back and elevating my legs above my head. I can usually avoid a blackout 50% of the time by doing this quickley. I am currently on Long Term Disability through my employer and am scheduled to go in front of an Administrative Law Judge next month so as to determine if I qualify for Social Security Disability.
