My episodes started just this Feb and would happen in the beginning like every 1/2 hour but now I am on lexapro, Levbid, and Xanax .25mg when I feel symptoms coming on. I haven't had a full attah in over a month. Between the med's and making sure I get enough sleep and fluids ( gatorade) this combination seems to be the trick for me. Levbid seems to be the best help. When I would have an episode I would feel the symptoms coming on and almost every time I would feel upper gastro cramping and then have a BM or feel like I needed to. I have been thru many tests and all were fine/normal. I haven't found a doctor willing to do the tilt table test. I have never fully fainted but came close and when EMT's arrived by BP was 80/50 and must have looked very pale due to when I got to the hospital one of the EMT's said I was getting my color back. When I feel one coming on I take a Xanax and lay down on my left side. Putting my legs up make me feel worse. Within 15 mins I am back to normal but leaves me weak and drained for a few hours.
