Just Had one!

It is so amazing to read these posts. Actually very comforting. I was at a restaurant on Thursday morning (7/29/04) and actually had the first VV experience that actually caused me to faint. Like many of the others, I was in a restaurant having breakfast with my wife. How embarassing. I go to this restaurant often. I'm in excellent health for my age (55). I run 4-5 miles daily. Here's a couple weird things that cause it. I get Proctalgia Fujax (extreme rectal pain episodes) had an attack of that just 3-4 minutes prior to the VV episode. Always in the past I'd been able to get to a place to lay down. Not this time and I knew I was going out approx. 20 seconds prior and actually braced myself in the booth. Out I went then off to the hospital after being revived, a day at the hospital, stress test, bla bla, like so many other stories here. Amazing to read them because I come close to passing out every time I have a BM. I thought that was normal.
