VASAL VAGAL SYNDROME

I was hospitalized in April for chest pains and they decided to keep me overnight to rule out heart problems. The next day they started to do a treadmill test (after 14 hrs. of nothing to eat or drink) and I collapsed and my heart stopped for 1 min. 35 sec! They couldn't expain it at first and sent me to another cardiologist for an opinion. He diagnosed it as a combination of dehydration, alergic reaction to bata blockers and vasal vagal syndrom. Have you heard of anyone else having their heart stop during one of these episodes? I gets very uneasy anytime I start to feel faint and unsteady (will my heart stop this time or will I come out of it). I'd welcome any input you can give me. Thanks, Linda
