Often episodes subside and one can carry one as usual. (I know that sounds optimistic for those of you who are right in the middle of dealing with this.) When you are more anxious you feed into the cycle and make things harder to control. Read the suggestions from various people and make sure you are doing what you can to minimize the chances of the episodes - but we know you can't do this 100% of the time. Stay hydrated! Get your feet higher than your head when an episode starts so you can avoid a full faint. I am going abroad next week and I'll let you know how I do plane-wise. Have taken shorter trips and have been okay but I always dread them because I am very susceptible to any turbulence.
