CJ, My problems sound a lot like yours. My fainting started 4 years ago...and I had my 4th "epsisode" last week...which prompted me to search the net for more answers. My usual scenerio is that I am usually just relaxing or lying down and then I feel like I have to have a bowel movement...THEN the pain gets so severe in my lower abdomin that on a 1-10 scale it is a 10...then I feel something come over me...lose my hearing...and usualy take a last breath by saying that I am going to pass out...or call someones name in the room...then I pass out...when others have observed they say I usually pass out for approximately 15 seconds. Then upon wakening, I have to have a bowel movement...I feel my "senses" coming back and I begin to hear again. Once I have had the bowel movement, my pain is gone but I have tingels in my hands/arms that last for hours...My doctor is going to schedule me for a colonoscopy. Have you ever had one of those for this?
