I too, was just diasgnosedwith vaso-vagal syncopy. Last Wed. while driving I experienced one of the episodes and drove myself to the clinic. They in turn rushed me by ambulance to the hosiptal where I was admitted for 5 days. They ran many tests on me including the tilt test. The systoms were very familiar to me but have gone on undiagnosed for years. The cardiologist put me on midrodrine (proamatine) 6 tab's a day, each 5mg. I tested positive to the frightening tilt test, passing out, going down to no blood pressure. I return to his office on Friday. I am very frightened about this dx since he said I have the worst case he's seen.. If you need to talk about any of my symptoms or yours, feel free to email me back.
