Second Opinions - Advice sought

From: Becca

Comments

I am going for a second opinion on Wednesday 28th April. I'm not sure what to expect.

I am concerned that if I mention the problems I have had in the past he will agree with the other doctors. I really need him to write down what my symptoms are rather than what they 'must be', which is what happened last time.

For example, can I ask him to explain exactly what is happening and why I am being labelled as 'silly' and 'mentally ill' because of it.

Does anyone have any advice for me? I know the consultant I am going to see is a specialist in the condition.

Becca.
