Suggestion - When you wake up with mild nausea, slowly move yourself to the carpet/floor and prop your feet up on the bed. If there is someone with you have them bring you damp cloth for your forehead - sometimes you won't want to be touched but sometimes it's nice. Put a small glass of water by your bedside and as you feel the epidsode subsiding a bit take a drink. You won't feel like a drink when it's happening. See if you can avoid having the episode go full blown. I think getting up and moving to the bathroom suddenly increases the chances for a VV - it's happend to me before several times. There's a recliner between my bed and the bathroom and I sometimes make it t there but I have to put pillows under my feet in order to get better circulation. Unless doctors have experienced it themselves their attitude is cavalier.
