Stress test

I had a stress test yesterday and passed out after the test. The doctor said the EKG looked normal but I had a problem with Vagal. I was not sure what he was talking about so I started surfing the web and found this site. My blood pressure has always been low and even as a child (I am 50 now) my mother remembers my fainting spells. I thought I had a heart block and had the stress test to check things out. I had been feeling badly (headache and sleepy) the day prior to the attack and attributed it to lack of caffeine due to the test preparation. I have always had problems if I was pushed into a stressful situation and usually sitting down and resting handled it but yesterday was really bad and I was put on oxygen and give an IV. Thanks to your web site I am learning about this problem that I have suffered all my life and it now has a name. I see my doctor for a followup as soon as the test results come back. Thanks for the information.
