The first thing i want to tell you is that you are not mad! Welcome to the club of people telling you you are though. I am 19 and had the title table as well and was told that i have vaso vagal. It is a illness that has no outward signs, you look totally normal and that is why it is hard for peopel to understand. I have had several doctors tell me im a hypocondricake, but i alwasy knew i wasnt and that what ever i had was just serious. After you have this illness for a period of time and pass out in public places you become very scared that it will happen all the time. I have this same problem I have has this illness for 7 months now and fear to go out because I dont want to pass out. Whenever I start to feel a little dizzy I freak myself out about it, which in turn throws me into a downward spiral of making my self way more dizzy then i might have really gotten. It has gotten to the point where I dont even know my brain is working against me, it just happens. I know exactly how you are feeling! I had to leave college and take a year off because I couldnt do anything. I have heard the beta-blockers make some people worse, you may want to try not taking those. I am on Proamatine, which helps regulate your blood pressure, I am also on flourineff which raises my blood pressure and helps maintain salt. I dont know if you have high or low blood pressure but I have very low which only works against me. Gateraid helps a lot, also salty foods, i dont like salty foods so i take salt tablets. I dont know where you live but there is a doctor in cleveland ohio named Dr. Fouad, she helped me I am not totaly better but i am way better then I was. If you want more info on her you can go onto the cleveland clinic web site and typ ein her name she is in the cardiology depo. I have seen over 14 doctors the more people you see the more they can help. I am in the process of going to see a psychiatrist hoping he can help with the fear side of it. YOU ARE NOT CRAZY, just look how many people have this illness. I will be happy to help you with anything else! We will all over come this thing.
