Do i have V.V.?

From: CBS

Comments

my whole life i have been passing out from sharp pain to my knees, ankles, elbows (like if i bump into something) and most recently- my tounge. I can feel it coming on and try to get to the ground quickly- I have only once succeeded at fighting it off but that seems to be make the episode longer than if i were to just give in. I wake up in a cold sweat, shook-up and disoriented, but feel fine afterwards. I am 23yrs old and this has been happening as long as i can remember- roughly once a year my whole life. I was recently at a concert and i bit down too hard on my tounge by accident and i passed out at the venue. I dont know if this is VV or not. My doctor has never even used this word before- it was up to me to research online and now i am reading other people's experiences. is this VV?

p.s.- i was on this site about a year ago and remember reading about people's experience w/drinking alcohol. there were comments that those who have VV tend to get sick (vomitting) from drinking more so than those who dont have VV. does anyone out there experience this- b/c i sure do!
