Finally, an explanation

I only have had a few episodes where I actually lose consciousness but the most recent was the worst. I experienced what my boyfriend described as a seizure after falling in the shower and hitting my head. All I remember is an overwhelming feeling of nausea. I am so relieved to read that the symptoms can vary so much. I have experienced similar dizziness while flying, after eating, just smelling food, after drinking alcohol, and from severe abdominal/bowel pain. I always am very tired after these episodes and thought it could be panic attacks. I'm just glad that I am not alone. I am having a heart monitor test next week but I did not feel that was the problem. I want to suggest the tilt test as well. And a doctor in my family suggested neurological tests such as EEG and CT scan to rule out any problems there. Thank you for posting your experiences. It helps.
