HI,

My name is Jenna and I have had this same exact thing happen to me before. I was at college in my dorm room and woke up in the middle of the night withthe cold sweat and the whole nine yards. I woke up my room mates who took me to the er. They gave me three bags of fluid and I felt better and went home. I now have v.v and am dizzy almost everyday. The doctor said drink...drink...drink..and take salt tablets. I drink a bottle of gateraid everyday and take sodium chloride tablets (I dont like salty foods) so i can take the tablets instead. I have very low blood pressure and this all seems to help. You may want to try it because you said the sodium chloride IV worked ok for you. I would ask the doctor before taking the salt tablets to make sure you dont have high blood pressure. I hope this helps a little.
