Laura, I have been experiencing V.V. for the past three years. I have had about 10 episodes. To me, it sounds like V.V., because the only time I have had the fainting spells is during the flu or a cold. When my immune system is low, so it is really important for your daughter to hydrate herself of Gatorade for the Sodium. Each time I get these episodes I usually experience 5-10 fainting spells, one time I had three in a matter of five minutes. The only thing that takes it away for me is to go to the E.R. and get a couple bags of sodium-chloride in an I.V. ... I hope this helps. If you have any other questions feel free to e-mail me at JBell@wng.com
