I am 45 years old and within the past 1 1/2 have undergone a gastic bypass. Recently, I have been having episodes, that don't seem to have alot in common as far as what triggers them, but the symptoms are very much alike. It can start with head swooning, sometimes pain in the lower chest around the ribs, making it hard to breath, sweating, feeling wat too hot and generally feeling as if I am going to pass out or be sick or both. It usually doesn't last very long and there do not appear to be any lasting effects. I've woke up out of a sound sleep and gone into one, in some cases I've just or recently finished eating, sometimes a regular meal, sometimes I've attempted to eat something with sugar in it. At times very bad diarrhea is involved. I'm at a loss and feel silly going to my doctor all the time cuz I think he thinks I'm alittle off. HELP!!!!! It makes life a bit hard cause you never know when or why you'll have an attack.
