My husband has been diagnosed with this condition. Feels dizzy, goes blue from head to toe, and then blacks out. He has been tilt tbale tested and attached to heart moitors which shows that his heart actually stops (flat line). However he does come back then is cold and clammy and has no energy. We were told it was not alife treatening condition but I think differently (after all his heart stops). When it happens his blood pressure drops. He is very fit and his blood pressure is low anyways. He was put on atenanol it worked for a while but he is now having more common attacks (near syncopy). He has been told the same lay down when he feels an attack coming on. Has been put on different beta blockers also and pace maker is next course of action but no gaurentees it will work. We live in Irealnd and there doesn't seem to be any one specialing in thic condition which is very worrying. We have two young chilren also, does any one know is the condition hereditary?
