Vaso-vagel

Comments

I'm a 53 year old male who is also a ultra runner. I mentioned this problem to my doctor and he threw out the term vaso-vagal. Here are my symptoms. When I run and I take in some liquid I tend to burp. Quite often, this is followed by the feeling of blacking out, dizziness, and that sensation you get when you stand up too fast! Because of my running, my resting pulse is in the mid to upper 40's and my blood pressure is around 110/65 or so. It's somewhat scary as most of my running is done in the desert or mountains alone and miles from anywhere. Any suggestions or similiar problems please contact me at eugster96@aol.com.
