Sick mother

My mother blacked out at the wheel this time last year. Luckily no one was injured, but the attending Er doctor said she had a vaso-vagal reaction and sent her on her way w/ a BP of 170/100. A week later she was having her tooth removed and passed out again, she was admitted this time to Lawrence Hospital. Doctors ran all the tests, MRI, Head CT, Thyroid,Blood...and said she had high Blood pressure and must be an anxious person. This woman has 5 children, worked as an ER nurse for 20 years, and has driven to Alaska...she is not anxious about driving (but is afraid she will cause an accident if she passes out at the wheel again), can you please recommend someone who might be able to explain this "vaso-vagal?" reaction, or perhaps a Doctor that might see her? All the best, CB
