Pregnant but not fainting

Hi, I am pregnant and since I was 29 weeks along(5 weeks ago) I have been waking up at night with racing heart (pulse up to 126), sweating, feeling of throat closing, very frequent bowel movements, nasea, shaking, feelings of a chemical like rush behind my ears or down my arms, overheating . . . but I have not been fainting. The triggers might have been lack of oxygen due to stuffy nose & swollen throat (from excessive reflux), and once late night chocolate (caffeine). These episodes make me very panicky and I am worried about the effect on my unborn baby. I also have a history of low blood pressure (90/60), salt cravings & GI problems. My midwife suggested my symptoms may be related to Vagal Response, but I am not fainting. Does anyone have any ideas if this could be Vagal? Thanks! Christina
