No, Dorothy, I am not on Sectral, but I am on Toprol XL. This is a different beta blocker. I was on an ace inhibitor before my positive tilt-table test. I was then changed over to the Toprol and have not had an episode since. My doctor also told me to stay hydrated, don't skip meals, move around (don't stand in any one place for a long time), and stay out of crowded rooms. When I think back to my past experiences, I have determined that I have had vaso vagal syncope since I was a child and it was never diagnosed till a few months ago at the age of 55. I believe that the ace inhibitor increased my amount of episodes to the point that I got concerned and got myself back to the cardiologist to change my medication. Hope the beta blocker you are on helps you the way the Toprol has helped me. Good luck
