Mary,

I am 30 yrs old, 10 months ago I had a pacemaker fitted. I wish I had it put in 23 years ago when my episodes first started. I don't think the triggers for my episodes are the same as the ones you describe. I can do anything I ever did before , every week I do a Boxercise style class , last week I played in a foot ball competition. A Pacemaker is not the end of the world, if anything I'm a whole lot safer because of it. However you need to be sure that this will resolve the issue. I was fainting and flatlining for 30 seconds at a time, it lead to seizure in some instances. The pacemaker will stop this. Good luck
