Vaso-vagal, does anyone have these symptoms?

I have had vaso vagal syncope now for about 6 yrs. I assume it was caused by a partial herniation to L5S1, since I've had them ever since and never had them before that. They seem to come in little clusters (actually, about every 50-60 days). I've read people describing their symptoms and was wondering if anyone had any similar to mine. It seems like most everybody has these episodes while they are standing up and awake. However, I always get the most excrutiating stomach ache of my life, end up in the bathroom, pass out and smack my head on the bathtub. But only about 3 or 4 of some 2 doz or more episodes have been while I was awake. I usually get the stomach ache while I'm sleeping (uaually very, very early in the morning) and then I pass out. I have the accompanying diaphoreses ("sweats") and I vomit, but not until after I wake back up and at that time the stomach ache is already gone. Is there anybody out there that has had the same experience. And how do ya'll (yes, I'm from Texas) take care of this. Medication? No thanks! Any other solutions? Thanks, Ariel
