Hi Stacy, I am am 29 year old woman who has vaso vagal syndrome. My incidents are not frequent but they are severe. I've been like this since age 3. For the past 5 years I have been collecting social security disability for my condition bc I was having problems at work. I was denied benefits initially then I appealed and went before a judge. The judge and the medical review board asked tons of questions and it took over a year for me receive benefits. I just kept plugging away even though it seemed hopeless. The two key factors that helped overturn my appeal were 1.) I had over 10 different jobs which I could not maintain. The judge said he believed I was making a strong effort and there wasn't any suitable work. 2.) I had an incident while I was in the presence of my neurologist who happened to be monitering my heart and brain activity. I flatlined for 1 minute and it was all documented. Just wanted you to know that social security disabilty benefits might be an option for you. Good luck.
