I am 23 yrs old and i have been dealing with Vaso-Vagal for almost 11 years now. When i first had my episode i was in class.I started feeling a tingle in my left arm, dizziness, shortness of breath, tunnel vision, which eventually turned to passing out on a hard floor. When i went to see my regular doctor he asked me if i was under any kind of stress. What could stress me out at the age of 13? He gave me a referal to see a Psychologist. Eventually my mother took me to get another opinion, because i continued to have more and more episodes even with seeing a Psychologist. My old doctor swore up and down that it was all in my head. I went through test after test, until a doctor who worked with my mother wanted to do a tilt table test on me. It turned out to be positive in a short amount of time. Now that i found out that i have Vaso-Vagal, and i am told to drink lots of fluids, sleep regularly, everything a normal person without VVS should be doing. Is there anything out there yet that will help this?
