Vasovagal Siezure?

My son's best friend is 17 yrs.old and had a siezure after lunch last week. This child has never had a siezure or head injury and so we are all quite concerned. I am a nurse practitioner and heard of similar reactions persons have had after eating and was wondering if this could be his problem. He had some of the prodrome but did not sieze today again after he had eaten lunch.
